The video comparison of Killzone 3 vs Shadow Fall is not very... accurate. HDMI capture on the PlayStation 4 is not available at launch. In order to get the two videos side by side I had to "Share" the PS4 footage (compressed), download from my facebook (compressed again), render in editing software (compressed again), and upload to youtube (compressed again). End results hardly show the graphical prowess of the PS4. So, here are screenshot comparisons of the two games. Much better.
I am a happy and proud owner of a Wii U and so far I've enjoyed Nintendoland, ZombieU and COD: Black ops 2 very much on Nintendo's newest console but I've been wanting more reasons to turn on that console. The Nintendo booth at PAX East 2013 gave me a few reasons, in this case 101 reasons.
On the third day of PAX East 2013 I headed into the indie section on the expo floor. I happened to stumble upon Contrast, a Steam Greenlight game featuring wonderful "multi-dimensional" puzzle game based on manipulating lights and shadows to solve puzzles and explore a stylized world with not only an impressive art style, but with a soundtrack to back it up.
Well, I'll start with what caught my attention first as I walked by Dejobaan's booth at PAX East 2013. Drunken. Robot. Pornography. Who could walk by a game with that title and resist the urge to play? Not to say I'm into consuming excessive amounts of alcohol and watching the evolution of the Floppy Disc to the Hard Drive.
EA and DICE launched their official homepage for Battlefield 4 today.
The page states that "The more fans who log in, the more we'll reveal", with the gameplay premiere coming March 27.
The entire page features a hazy piece of concept art that you can furiously swipe at to reveal bits of the image at a time. I took a quick look at the page's source code and found the unaltered image shown above.
Check back March 27 for the gameplay reveal and all other news.
